I used a special tecnique on this painting. For the background, I poured a lot of water on the panel and gently pulled the color with black & white, which brought out the textures like marble surface. Meanwhile, it's still needed to care about the various shadows.
Water can not go on canvas smoothly, but I don't use canvas often. I usually bought many hand-made wooden panels from USA.
It's been two years since I started my very first painting as an autodidact.
Time to move on! From this painting, I tried to forget the subject to step into a hallucinatory land and obviously it is not worked yet. Ummm, must find something to drive me crazy...
In the very beginning, I was very satisfied with its beauty. After few days, I get a little bored of my won background work.
